Scope of This Policy
Mabaza is a local-first meal journal. This Privacy Policy explains how the App handles information when you use its meal logging, food library, goals, optional meal media, voice quick log, and export features.
Information You Provide
You may create meal entries, custom foods, notes, nutrition goals, saved meal templates, and optional meal photos. This information is used to display your journal and calculate the summaries and trends you request in the App.
Local Records and Retention
Mabaza stores your journal data on your device. The App does not provide an account system or a remote journal sync service. You can delete journal entries in the App, and you may remove the App using your device controls.
Media and Device Access
Camera and Photo Library access are requested only when you choose to capture or attach a meal photo. A selected or captured photo is kept with the local journal entry. Microphone and Speech Recognition access are requested only when you choose Voice quick log. Audio is used while you dictate and is not saved as a recording; food suggestions require on-device recognition. You can continue using the journal without granting any of these permissions.
Sharing and Platform Services
Mabaza does not include analytics, advertising tracking, or a backend service for journal data. When you choose to export your journal, your device presents the system sharing options you select. Apple may process App Store transactions and device services under its own policies.
Security and Your Choices
Keeping records on your device reduces unnecessary data transfer, but no device or software environment can be guaranteed completely secure. Protect your device with the security controls available to you and export information only through destinations you trust.
Children's Privacy
Mabaza is not directed to children where local law requires parental consent. If you believe a child has provided information through the App, use the device controls to remove the App and its local data, or contact us.
